W/Mo FoW Chest Running Build
With the recent changes to the wisdom and treasure hunter titles it is now possible to farm/ run chests on any character. This allows builds with shadow form to dominate most chest runs.Just to make things clear this build is meant just for the fun of running FoW chests with a warrior and a group of other chest runners, as i personally prefer maneuvering to survive then just being invincible.
This above paragraph was just to state the reason for posting my running build not to start contraverse on shadow form or other running builds.
The build

Most, if not all, of it is self-explanatory. IAU for armor +no kd, SU for cave, RH for deep freeze, rebirth- golden rule,etc.
This build has a high percentage of failing in both of the forests.
Problems: energy. CS as only running skill.
Any comments/suggestions to make this build better?

why bring rebirth as a runner...?
You can add Dwarven Stability (DS) - use it before Charging Strike (CS) and you get CS for 10 seconds each time. Since DS lasts 30 seconds you can use CS at least twice - maybe three times per DS. This could help you with energy management.

because FoW chestruns mostly are done in a group, if someone dies you can rez him, it's called beeing social. and it ain't really the hardest of all runs, even less in a group, so you can easily spare a skill...

you know for the longest time i never understood why [soldier's speed] and [i am the strongest] was the prefered way of running as opposed to [sprint][enraging charge] then i realized that with tatics at 12 or so [soldier's speed] would only be down for 1 second.
the reason why it is better is because of energy. [charging strike] is really mana inefficient. you have to spend 5 energy every 5 seconds. which sucks.
granted it is a 33% increase and 1 skill on the bar as opposed to 2. but whats the point of having the extra skills on your bar if you dont have the mana to cast them?
i think [dwarven stability] is a good call. it needs to be on the bar somewhere. maybe....

Sort of crappy, but it works.
*1s downtime on Sprint, an almost constant 25% IMS.
*IAU! is a Shout, so it can be active while Sprint is up. Helps with annoying KD.
*NSP! is good for KD on all those mobs that don't want to give up. Sit them down and keep running!
*Cure Hex is both removal+self-heal
*Mending Touch because Cripple sucks while running
*WoH because, tbh, wtf else you going to use your Elite for?
*Rebirth to rez running mates who are a little slow on reflexes and like taking dirt naps
*SoS because bonus HP is smexy.
Use a +5e, +30hp martial weapon and a +30, 20% reduced Cripple shield (Enadiz's Defender is a green with those stats and a Strength req)
Just a few jumbled thoughts, tbh...

i use CS for 33% and also its once every 9 seconds cuz the duration is 9 seconds at 14 strength.
Also, i believe ur providing general running tips because FoW wise [Remove Hex] > [Holy Veil] because the same group that casts [deep freeze] on u has mesmers that remove enchants and also holy veil would kill my energy via the -1 energy regen.

Sorry to be a bit off topic, what I'm looking for is a thread I thought I saw a while back on droks running. Actually, I thought it was a sticky somewhere, but my 20 minutes of searching around has failed to turn it up. I'd be grateful for help.
Back on topic, lots of great info here. I'm a casual player, ended up getting a W/Mo to 20 just because a pal who has been at it a long time dragged me around on a lot of his game time. Now that my W/Mo has been 20 for a while I think probably the best thing I could do with him is learn to do the run and make a little money when I've only got an hour or so to play at a time.
The other thing that is really beginning to sink in is that I need to spend more time with this character outside of prophecies to unlock some of the skill listed on this thread. I've got all four games, but mostly just cruise around in Prohpecies.
